Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the BigTick website and application, provided by BigTick Digital Pty Ltd ("BigTick", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
BigTick is software that helps you build and run an integrated management system for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 — generating policies, procedures and registers from information you provide, and giving your team tools to maintain them.
2. Certification is not guaranteed
BigTick helps you prepare a documented management system that certification bodies audit against. We do not issue certification and cannot guarantee any certification outcome. Certification is granted only by an accredited certification body following its own audit. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your information and for operating your management system.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate details, keep your login credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be authorised to act on behalf of the organisation you set up.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis via Stripe. Prices are in AUD and, where applicable, include GST.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
5. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the documents, records and other content you create in BigTick. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process that content to provide the service. You can export your documents at any time, and they remain yours if you leave.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to breach security, disrupt the service, access other organisations' data, or use BigTick to store unlawful content.
7. Intellectual property
BigTick and all associated software, branding and templates are owned by BigTick Digital Pty Ltd. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you beyond the right to use the service.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and may update or discontinue features from time to time.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or non-payment. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date; continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
